Birch trees are known for their distinctive, flexible, and durable white bark. This bark has been used for centuries in all cultures where birches are native, to build baskets, canoes, containers, and all manner of useful objects and decorations.

In these earrings it has been minimally stripped apart and displayed in layers to show off the natural variation of its beautiful colors against the color of its wood.

Earrings are light and dance quite a bit when worn. Lightly finished with Danish Oil. Hardware is sterling silver and hypoallergenic for most.
